We should judge trials by the quality of their data and the benefit they bring to patients, not by their country of origin. Scientific scrutiny should follow the same standards for everyone; political biases must not delay patients’ access to effective treatments. Clearly, these studies were considered scientifically worthy of presidential presentation—just look at how many came from China!
