Phase III KEYNOTE-B15/EV-304: Health-Related Quality of Life With Enfortumab Vedotin Plus Pembrolizumab in MIBC
At #ESMO26, Alfonso Gomez de Liano Lista presented prespecified HRQoL findings from KEYNOTE-B15/EV-304 (4738RO), comparing perioperative enfortumab vedotin (EV) plus pembrolizumab with neoadjuvant cisplatin plus gemcitabine in cisplatin-eligible muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
Key findings:
▫️ HRQoL at postoperative Week 42: No clinically meaningful between-arm differences in the selected EORTC QLQ-C30 and BCI domains.
▫️ Time to definitive deterioration: Similar between treatment groups across all six assessed domains.
▫️ Sexual function: Clinically meaningful and persistent worsening in both arms (LS mean changes: −15.13 vs −14.82 points).
▫️ Postoperative recovery: The largest deterioration in most HRQoL domains occurred after surgery, followed by partial recovery in both groups.
Takeaway: These patient-reported outcomes further support the benefit–risk profile of perioperative EV plus pembrolizumab in cisplatin-eligible MIBC.
