对30例犬胶质瘤（CG）FFPE样本的空间分析显示，所有亚型均存在与不同上皮-间质转化（EMP）表型相关的异质性免疫抑制生态位。星形细胞瘤表现出更强的间质特征并与肿瘤相关巨噬细胞（TAM）募集相关，而少突胶质细胞瘤则显示出强烈的干细胞样特征并独特地上调FOXP3/LAG3/SNAI1三联体。该研究确立了CG作为研究人类胶质瘤免疫治疗反应的比较模型的潜力。
