JNJ-6143
Start here
Johnson & Johnson has acquired Halda Therapeutics, a biotech built on its RIPTAC (regulated induced proximity targeting chimera) platform, for $3.05 billion. The deal follows Phase I data presented October 25 in an oral session at ESMO 2026 for the oral small molecule JNJ-6143 in advanced prostate cancer, which showed an objective response rate of 75%. The molecule, formerly HLD-0915, is described by Halda as the first RIPTAC to enter clinical study. The acquisition gives J&J full control of the RIPTAC platform and its lead clinical asset, adding a differentiated modality to its prostate cancer pipeline. Further clinical development of JNJ-6143 beyond the Phase I stage, and whether additional RIPTAC molecules from the platform advance, remain open questions.
