Droplet-based organoid screens enable high-throughput identification of cancer vulnerabilities
Start here
The authors encapsulate tumor cells in hundred-micrometer-sized Matrigel droplets for organoid culture. A simple vortex step on standard laboratory equipment generates millions of uniform nanoliter compartments, which can be combined with high-throughput drug screening, live-cell imaging, and pooled CRISPR screening.
