Chinese Orals at ESMO 2026: Dual TKI Overcomes MET-Amplified Resistance; CS2009 and Ivonescimab Data
Start here
Three Chinese-led oral presentations at ESMO 2026 delivered updated results across MET-amplification resistance, non-small cell lung cancer, and thymic carcinoma. The headline result came from a randomized phase 3 trial (NCT06110663), where a dual-TKI regimen significantly improved progression-free survival in MET-amplified resistance: 314 patients were randomized, and IRC-assessed median PFS was 6.2 versus 4.4 months, with HR 0.601 and P<0.001. Separately, CS2009 showed preliminary activity in the evaluable first-line PD-L1 TPS≥50% population, with an ORR of 81.3% and a disease control rate of 100%. Full details of the ivonescimab thymic carcinoma data and longer-term follow-up across these studies are still to come.

Three Chinese-led oral presentations at ESMO 2026 updated data on MET-amplification resistance, NSCLC, and thymic carcinoma. A dual-TKI regimen significantly improved PFS in a randomized phase 3 study: NCT06110663 randomized 314 patients, with IRC-assessed mPFS of 6.2 vs 4.4 months, HR 0.601, P<0.001. CS2009 showed a preliminary ORR/DCR of 81.3%/100% in the evaluable first-line PD-L1 TPS≥50% population.
