Lilly's Mirikizumab Phase 3 SHINE-2 in Pediatric Ulcerative Colitis Meets Primary Endpoint

Lilly announced that the Phase 3 SHINE-2 study of mirikizumab in ulcerative colitis patients aged 6 to 17 met its primary endpoint of clinical remission. More than 80% of patients responded to induction therapy, and half of those responders achieved clinical remission at one year. Lilly plans to file the data with global regulators to support expanding mirikizumab's indication to pediatric ulcerative colitis.
