Atacicept in IgA Nephropathy - Phase 3 Trial Final Efficacy Analysis.

The final efficacy analysis of the phase 3 ORIGIN 3 trial shows that atacicept slowed the decline in eGFR in patients with IgA nephropathy compared with placebo and reduced events in the composite endpoint of kidney-disease progression.
Why it matters
ORIGIN 3 reports eGFR change at both week 52 and week 104 plus kidney-disease progression events, allowing direct assessment of atacicept's renal protection.
