China NMPA Approves Zhuhai Sanmed's Chromosome 3 and 10 Abnormal Cell Detection Kit

China's NMPA has approved the innovative device registration of Zhuhai Sanmed Bio-Diagnostics' "Kit for Detection of Cells with Chromosome 3 and 10 Abnormalities (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization)." The kit qualitatively detects mononuclear cells with chromosome 3 and/or 10 amplification abnormalities in peripheral blood of people with lung nodules, for lung cancer adjunctive diagnosis in patients whose CT findings cannot determine whether invasive testing is needed.
