AstraZeneca's Tezepelumab Posts Positive Phase III CROSSING Results in Eosinophilic Esophagitis

AstraZeneca China announced positive results from the Phase III CROSSING trial of Taiseido (tezepelumab) in eosinophilic esophagitis. Compared with placebo, patients achieved statistically significant and clinically meaningful histologic remission and symptom improvement at week 24, with efficacy sustained to week 52; at week 52, tezepelumab achieved statistically significant complete endoscopic remission and eliminated endoscopically visible signs of inflammation and fibrosis.
