Science Study with 23andMe Links Germline EGFR T790M to High Lung Cancer Risk

A study published in Science in collaboration with 23andMe reports an association between the rare germline EGFR T790M variant and high lung cancer risk across more than 3,300,000 individuals. LoPiccolo and colleagues at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, working with the 23andMe Research Team, conducted variant-level association analyses and reported the variant's genetic evolution.
