馃毃 Positive results from the phase 3 VOLGA trial presented at #ESMO26
The VOLGA trial evaluated perioperative durvalumab (D) 卤 tremelimumab (T) plus neoadjuvant enfortumab vedotin (EV) in patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) who were ineligible for or refused cisplatin and were planned for radical cystectomy.
Both primary EFS endpoints were met:
馃敼 D + EV vs control: HR 0.51; 24-month EFS 64% vs 45%
馃敼 D + T + EV vs control: HR 0.61; 24-month EFS 60% vs 45%
Importantly, D + EV also significantly improved OS, with an HR of 0.58 and 24-month OS rates of 78% vs 69%.
Pathological complete response was 45% with D + EV vs 10% with control.
OS significance was not met for D + T + EV at this interim analysis; follow-up is ongoing.
