About 90% of pancreatic cancers are driven by KRAS mutations. A new pancreatic cancer vaccine taught the immune system to attack these mutations in 89 of 90 patients, and those with the strongest immune response stayed cancer-free for longer. A larger phase 3 trial is now planned.
