Sacituzumab Tirumotecan Final TNBC Analysis Shows Median OS of 14.7 Months
Start here
At the ESMO congress, Kelun-Biotech presented the final overall survival analysis of its TROP2 antibody-drug conjugate sacituzumab tirumotecan (SKB264) in a China trial of second-line and later advanced triple-negative breast cancer. After 29.4 months of follow-up, patients on the ADC had a median overall survival of 14.7 months versus 9.9 months with chemotherapy, a hazard ratio of 0.60; adjusting for subsequent ADC treatment as a confounder strengthened the effect to HR 0.55. The results add mature survival evidence to the drug's profile in a setting where post-chemotherapy options remain limited. Open questions include how the magnitude of benefit translates outside the trial population and how the agent positions against other ADCs in the same indication.
