Pimicotinib and Nirogacestat Data Head to 2026 ESMO Congress

Five studies from Merck KGaA spanning two of its oncology assets, pimicotinib and nirogacestat, have been accepted for the 2026 ESMO congress. On the pimicotinib side, the accepted work includes two-year follow-up data from the MANEUVER trial in tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT), along with quality-of-life findings in the same disease. For nirogacestat, three datasets in desmoid tumors were accepted, covering dose-reduction strategies, real-world evidence, and an indirect comparison. The congress presentations will give clinicians longer-term efficacy and tolerability information for TGCT and a fuller picture of how nirogacestat performs across treatment settings in desmoid tumors. The detailed results themselves have not yet been released and are awaited at the meeting.
