KC-WISE Phase 3 Update at ESMO 2026 Shows Median Overall Survival of 19.6 Months with Anbenizumab Plus Chemotherapy

CSPC Pharmaceutical's randomized, double-blind, multicenter phase 3 KC-WISE study (NCT05427383) presented updated overall survival data at ESMO 2026 in a preferred oral presentation. Anbenizumab plus chemotherapy in HER2-positive advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma after prior trastuzumab failure yielded a median overall survival of 19.6 months versus 9.6 months in the control arm (HR=0.39; 95% CI 0.28-0.54; P<0.0001).
Why it matters
Head-to-head phase 3 data show anbenizumab plus chemotherapy extended median overall survival from 9.6 to 19.6 months in these patients.
