Sino Biopharmaceutical's TQB2102 Extends Median PFS to 16.4 Months in Phase 3 HER2-Low Breast Cancer Study

Sino Biopharmaceutical presented phase 3 results for TQB2102 in HER2-low breast cancer at ESMO 2026: median progression-free survival was 16.4 months versus 5.5 months in the chemotherapy arm. APEX-Breast01 was released as LBA27, with 543 patients randomized as of May 31, 2026; HR was 0.29 in both the HR+/HER2-low population and the overall HER2-low population, with 95% CIs of 0.22–0.39 and 0.22–0.38, respectively, and p<0.0001.
Why it matters
The conference abstract gives PFS effect size, ORR and ILD rate from a randomized phase 3 study, enabling comparison with chemotherapy.
