Clinical trials generate promising results for improving kidney health

Three Phase III IgA nephropathy trials were presented at ASN Kidney Week 2026. Atacicept's ORIGIN 3 interim analysis met its primary endpoint and secured FDA accelerated approval, with two-year data showing stabilized eGFR and a markedly reduced progression risk. Sibeprenlimab's VISIONARY trial showed a 97% reduction versus placebo in the risk of kidney function loss or kidney failure over two years, and telitacicept's TELIGAN two-year data confirmed durable kidney protection with a good safety profile in high-risk patients.
