Zhongsheng's RAY1225 Hits Primary Endpoint in Phase 3 REBUILDING-2, 9 mg Group Loses 22.24% Body Weight

Zhongsheng Pharmaceutical's RAY1225 (beiporpotide) met the primary endpoint in the Phase 3 REBUILDING-2 study in overweight or obesity, with the 9 mg group losing 22.24% of body weight from baseline over 52 weeks. Placebo-adjusted weight loss was 20.46% (P<0.0001), with the 3 mg and 6 mg groups at 11.23% and 17.42%, respectively; in the 9 mg group, 99.3%, 82.1% and 53.8% achieved weight loss of at least 5%, 15% and 20%.
