Proteomic atlas of T cell exhaustion defines proteostatic collapse.
In brief
A study integrated transcriptomics, quantitative proteomics, turnover proteomics, and ubiquitin proteomics to build a multi-omic atlas of T cell exhaustion. The atlas shows widespread changes in proteostasis, metabolism, DNA repair, and the ubiquitin-proteasome system, and differential expression of E3 ubiquitin ligases correlates with immunotherapy outcomes. RNF166 overexpression enhanced T cell persistence in vitro and in vivo.
Why it matters
The study integrates transcription, protein expression, turnover, and ubiquitination data into one atlas for locating key regulatory layers and intervention targets in T cell exhaustion.
