@OncoAlert
One of the most interesting things about the evERA biomarker analysis is that the treatment signal seems to hold across very different molecular contexts.
@stolaney1 🇺🇸 from @DanaFarber walks us through the data:
🔹 Giredestrant + everolimus maintained PFS benefit regardless of ctDNA fraction
🔹 Benefit persisted across ESR1 variants, including Y537
🔹 The signal was also preserved in poor-prognosis subgroups such as TP53, GATA3 and RB1
🎯 Why this matters: biomarkers can tell us who has more aggressive biology — but that does not always mean they identify who will or will not benefit from a given treatment.
For me, the key question is whether future analyses can move beyond prognostic stratification and identify a truly predictive signature for endocrine-based combinations after CDK4/6 inhibition.
Excellent discussion by @stolaney1.
