ESMO 2026: Amgen’s Imdelltra slashes death risk by nearly 60% in small cell lung cancer

Phase 3 DeLLphi-305 results show that Imdelltra plus Imfinzi reduced the risk of death by 58% versus Imfinzi alone in extensive-stage small cell lung cancer. Amgen presented data at ESMO 2026 from 563 patients who had completed Imfinzi, platinum chemotherapy and etoposide without disease progression; at a median follow-up of 16 months, OS was 21.1 months versus 12.7 months, and PFS was 7.4 months versus 1.9 months.
