Why does abemaciclib still work after CDK4/6i? #postMONARCH #ESMO26
• Resistance is mostly ER-driven (ESR1), so switching to fulvestrant helps
• True CDK4/6 independence (RB1 loss) is rare
• Abema ≠ palbo: CDK4-selective, some CDK2 activity, continuous dosing
PFS2 & TTC HR 0.76. Modest but real.
