Hansoh Pharmaceutical and Roche Sign ADC Co-Development Deal Worth Over $15 Billion

In brief

Hansoh Pharmaceutical and Roche have entered an ADC co-development agreement worth over $15 billion. Hansoh will lead early development through global Phase 1a trials, while Roche will handle further development outside Greater China, with Hansoh retaining rights in Greater China. The deal follows the MNC strategy of systematically bringing in Chinese drugmakers' R&D systems through early-stage collaboration up to initial proof of concept, like Hengrui with Bristol Myers Squibb and Innovent with Eli Lilly and Pfizer.
