Chia Tai Tianqing's TQ-A3334 and TQA3605 received breakthrough therapy designations from the CDE on October 26, for functional cure of hepatitis B and low-level viremia, respectively. TQ-A3334 is an oral, highly selective Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) agonist, and TQA3605 is an oral hepatitis B core protein allosteric modulator (CpAM). Both drugs met their primary endpoints in Phase II studies.
