Kelun-Biotech presented final overall survival results for sac-TMT from the OptiTROP-Lung04 phase 3 trial at 2026 ESMO, showing a median OS 8.5 months longer than platinum-based doublet chemotherapy. In patients with EGFR-mutant locally advanced or metastatic nonsquamous NSCLC progressing after EGFR-TKI treatment, median OS was 25.9 versus 17.4 months, with a 31% reduction in risk of death (HR 0.69; 95% CI 0.54-0.89; one-sided P=0.0021) and two-year OS rates of 54.1% versus 37.2%.
Why it matters
The phase 3 trial provides OS, death-risk and subsequent-ADC-adjusted data against platinum doublet chemotherapy to gauge long-term survival benefit.
