METiS Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly Strike Strategic Deal on Tissue-Specific LNP Delivery Technology

METiS Pharmaceuticals (7666.HK) has announced a strategic collaboration with Eli Lilly focused on tissue-specific LNP (lipid nanoparticle) delivery technology, jointly discovering and optimizing next-generation delivery solutions. Under the agreement, METiS will receive an upfront payment of over ten million US dollars, plus development, regulatory and commercial milestone payments totaling up to 1.1 billion US dollars, along with tiered royalties in the single-digit percentages based on annual net sales of collaboration products.
