Roche Enspryng Enters Thyroid Eye Disease

Roche's Enspryng becomes the world's first and currently only treatment for thyroid eye disease (TED) that can be self-administered by subcutaneous injection at home, with patients or caregivers giving injections after training from healthcare professionals. TED is a rare autoimmune disease with a US prevalence of about 155 cases per 100,000 people; women are affected about five times as often as men.
