Takeda's Brentuximab Vedotin Wins NMPA Approval for First-Line CD30-Positive PTCL

Takeda's brentuximab vedotin for injection has been approved by the NMPA for first-line use in combination with chemotherapy in adults with CD30-positive PTCL. Combined with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin and prednisone, it covers previously untreated systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma and other CD30-positive peripheral T-cell lymphoma, including AITL and PTCL-NOS. The source calls it China's first and currently only targeted agent approved for first-line CD30-positive PTCL treatment.
