Novo Nordisk and Nanexa Sign Up to EUR 1.165 Billion Deal for 30-Nanometer Film Long-Acting Formulations

Novo Nordisk and Nanexa have signed a PharmaShell long-acting formulation collaboration worth up to EUR 1.165 billion (about USD 1.326 billion), with Novo Nordisk responsible for further global development and commercialization. EUR 615 million covers the upfront payment and development and regulatory milestones, the remainder is sales milestones, and after launch Nanexa will receive a low-single-digit royalty on global sales.
