Brentuximab Vedotin Approved in China as First-Line Therapy for CD30-Positive PTCL

Takeda announced that its ADC drug brentuximab vedotin has been approved in China as first-line treatment for CD30-positive peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL), making it the first and only approved targeted therapy for this indication. The approval is based on 5-year follow-up data from the phase 3 ECHELON-2 trial, which showed tumor shrinkage or complete disappearance in more than 96% of patients.
