Why AstraZeneca Chose Insitro for AI Drug Discovery Collaboration in MASH and Cardiomyopathy

AstraZeneca has entered a global exclusive research collaboration with AI company Insitro in MASH and cardiomyopathy, using Insitro's human data-driven causal biology platform to advance new target and candidate drug discovery. Insitro will receive a $40 million upfront payment, up to approximately $1.46 billion in discovery, development and commercialization milestone payments, plus single-digit percentage royalties on future global sales.
