In another meta-analysis of ours, to be presented at #ESMO26 , we evaluated whether adding carboplatin to taxane plus dual HER2 blockade improves pCR rates in neoadjuvant HER2+ breast cancer. Across 8 studies involving 2,529 patients, carboplatin did not significantly improve pCR rates (62.2% vs 61.7%), including across the evaluated clinical subgroups.
