The EQUIP study, presented at the EANM'26 congress, found that a 128 cm long-axial PET/CT system (GE HealthCare Omni 128 cm) achieved a mean diagnostic image quality score of 4.5/5 with 1-minute scans, higher than the 3.9/5 for conventional short-axial PET/CT.
