Physicist Hadiyah-Nicole Green described her laser-activated nanoparticle cancer therapy in an Osmosis interview, in which nanoparticles accumulate in tumors and laser heating destroys cells in place, avoiding chemotherapy, radiation or surgery. She said preclinical work showed a single 10-minute treatment cleared tumors within 15 days without visible side effects, and the approach has FDA breakthrough device designation. She is running trials through a 501c3 nonprofit, starting with low-risk superficial skin and head-and-neck tumors, though the mouse-tumor claims lack independent clinical evidence.
