A clinically-oriented foundation model for intraoperative pathology

CRISP, a vision-based pathology foundation model trained exclusively on frozen section slides, outperformed current foundation models and showed extensive validation, including a prospective cohort, for supporting treatment decisions across the surgical workflow. It brings intraoperative pathology decision support closer to clinical use.
