China's NMPA approved four granule formulations on October 15, 2026: Zihua Wenfei Zhisou Granule, a Class 1.1 TCM innovative drug, plus three Class 3.1 classic-formula TCM products, Wenjing Tang Granule (Shandong Runzhong Pharmaceutical), Shaoyao Gancao Tang Granule and Yiguan Jian Granule, covering respiratory, gynecological, pain and digestive indications. Zihua Wenfei Zhisou Granule will enter the 2026 national reimbursement talks via the off-catalogue pre-application route.
